Turtle Pond Circuit Race
April 13, 2008 - Loudon, NH
Now in its sixth year, the Turtle Pond Circuit Race is quickly becoming a New England Classic. Attracting over 500 racers last season, we are expecting an even larger turnout this year. Each year we improve upon the venue as well. The same challenging finish atop Oak Hill will still be used, and is within a mile of the new start/parking locations. New parking and facilities will be provided by the Loudon Elementary School on School St. in Loudon.
Course Description
The course travels along a fast and rolling 11-mile circuit in scenic East Concord and Loudon, NH. Surrounded by residences and farms, the area provides the perfect backdrop for a classic New England race. With excellent road surfaces on much of the course from a 2005 repaving, expect one of the nicest courses in the region. The finish, located at the top of Oak Hill is approximately 1.5km in length and provides an opportunity for the all-around rider to shine.
